The time it takes between when an ebook is requested and when you are notified that it is ready for check out will vary depending on when other customers check out, download and then return titles. Ebooks always automatically check in when they are due and they cannot be renewed if there are outstanding requests so hopefully you will not have to wait too long for an item that you have requested.
