Q. Does the Gwinnett County Public Library offer 3D printing?

Answer

The Gwinnett County Public Library does offer the opportunity to try out 3D printing.  We have four Learning Labs that house both Makerbot and Lulzbot printers.  The Learning Labs can be reserved for up to two hours and you can request a Book a Librarian appointment with one of our Learning Lab specialists who can walk you through the process of 3D printing.  Learning Labs can be booked here - Meeting Rooms and you can set up a Book a Librarian appointment here - Book-a-librarian

There are also several planned events that you can attend to learn about 3D printing and that are designed to help you get certified so that you can use 3D printing equipment on your own without the assistance of a Learning Lab specialist.  A full listing of available classes can be found here - Calendar.  Once here you can expand the calendar from the current day to the current month by clicking View As and then Calendar.  Then you can do a keyword search using "3D."

For more information you can call the library at 770-978-5154.
