Q. How old do you have to be to be considered a senior citizen?

Answer

At GCPL, any library card holder 65 years of age or older is considered a senior citizen and is exempt from extended loan fees.
Various organizations provide different ages to qualify for senior status.  For example, the U.S. Social Security Administration provides benefits as early as age 62.
