Q. If I lose a book then find it do I still have to pay a fee when I bring it back?

Answer

If you have already paid the replacement fee for a lost item, there are no refunds and the item is yours to keep. However if you have found a lost item and have not yet paid the replacement fee, upon returning the item a maximum late fee of $8.00 or $5.00, depending on whether the item is hardcover or paperback, will be charged to your account.   

Please feel free to contact the library at 770-978-5154 during open hours or speak to someone in person at any library branch location regarding your account. We would need your library card number and date of birth in order to access your account or you can show picture ID in person at one of our locations.
