Q. Are AR books listed online ?

Can we find the AR books (required from School to read and have a specific code) online? When we search for a specific book, can we know if that book is an AR book and type the specific code at school to be tested?

Answer

Unfortunately, the library catalog does not allow you to search for items by AR level. Some Gwinnett County schools do have an online database that allows you to search based on AR level or book title. You may want to check with your child's media center to see if that is a service they have available to simplify the process.

When you refer to "codes" we assume you are referring to quiz codes that your son would use to take the test for a particular AR book he has read.  If this is what you are referring to, you can use a database called AR BookFinder; the website for AR BookFinder is www.arbookfind.com.  This site will allow you to search by title or book level.  Once you have a particular title viewable on your screen, you'll be given other information about that title including the quiz number.  Once you've located titles for your son via the AR BookFinder site, you can search our catalog --- go to www.gwinnettpl.org and click Catalog --- to see if we own those particular titles.
