GCPL has a variety of language resources that might be helpful to bi-lingual parents and students.

In the children's section, there is a variety of easy and juvenile books written in both Spanish and English.

For parents speaking only Spanish, there are several learning resources.  Many branches offer "Conversations in English" programs which meet weekly and offer customers the opportunity to practice English conversation skills.  In addition, several branches also offer "English in your language" sessions at different times throughout the year.  For more information about these programs you can go to the library calendar for days and times.

Our database, Mango Languages has 8 courses for Spanish speakers who would like to learn English.  In addition, parents may want to explore the Spanish language books--both fiction and nonfiction--located in a few of our branch locations in the adult collection.
