Q. Do you have any classes for learning English?

The Gwinnett County Public Library has two programs designed to assist customers with learning English as a second language.

One program, Let's Talk, is more informal and allows customers to practice their conversational skills.  Each session is organized around a particular topic and library staff facilitate conversation by presenting questions and information designed to get people comfortable talking in a group setting.

The other program, English in Your Language, is a more formal class at which learners are taught basic English with a staff member who speaks their native language.  GCPL currently offers this program for speakers of Spanish, Korean, French, Mandarin/Cantonese, Japanese and Vietnamese.

Both are walk in programs that do not require advance sign up or registration.
