Do you have voter registration and what proof do you require?

Answer

Mail-in voter registration forms (postage-paid) are available at all branches.

GCPL can provide you a form to complete and send to the Georgia Secretary of State regardless of whether you have a library card. If it is your first time registering, you will need to include one of the following with your registration form: copy of a current and valid photo ID, a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows your name and address.

If you apply for a library card, library staff can take your completed voter registration application and send it in for you in a library specific envelope.  Since your address has already been verified you will not need to photocopy any documents to send along with the application.
