Do you have scanners and do I need my library card number to use them?
Answer
All Gwinnett County Public Library branches have two Mac computers with scanners attached to them. These allow customers to scan documents and save them to the desktop for easy transfer to emails for sending. You also have the option to edit documents that are scanned if needed by using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Word. These special Macs are known as the Tech Stations and staff members are on hand at all branches to assist you with using the scanning features. The Tech Stations require a library card for logging in.
You can also use the branch copy machine to scan and email documents directly. This would be a good option if you have several pages to scan because you can send them through the feed tray at the top. This option does not require a library card.
