Q. Is there a scanner at the branches so we can scan documents/paper to our email?
All Gwinnett County Public Library branches have two Mac computers with flatbed scanners attached to them. These allow customers to scan documents and save them to the desktop for easy transfer to emails for sending. You also have the option to edit documents that are scanned if needed by using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Word. These special Macs are known as the Tech Stations and staff members are on hand at all branches to assist you with using the scanning features.
You can also use the branch copy machine to scan and email documents directly. This would be a good option if you have several pages to scan because you can send them through the feed tray at the top.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
