Are Interlibrary Loan books renewable and how many can I request at one time?
Also how long do I have to wait until I can request an item through ILL again?

In some cases books that have been obtained through Interlibrary Loan can be renewed for additional time. In order to find out if this is possible, please send an email at least 5 business days before the ILL item is due to InterlibraryLoan@gwinnettpl.org and someone in the ILL department will assist you.
Customers are allowed to have 5 active Interlibrary Loans - this includes requests in process and ILLs that are checked out.
Accounts must be in good standing before an ILL request can be submitted.
If you have requested a title through Interlibrary Loan that you would like to get again there is a six month waiting period before this title can be requested again.
