What age groups are exempt from paying overdue fees?

Library customers 17 years of age and younger as well as customers who are 65 years of age and older will not be charged overdue fees if items are returned past due. However, please keep in mind that if items are not renewed or returned in a timely manner they will age to "lost" and the replacement fees will be added to the account. If the replacement fees equal or exceed $25 the library account is subject to being sent to collections at which time an additional $10 fee will be added. Customers can renew items by visiting their preferred location to renew in person, visiting the library website to renew online or by calling 770-978-5154 to renew items over the phone.
