What is a Playaway Launchpad?

Playaway launchpads are small tablets with preloaded games/apps intended for use by young children. Each branch location has a small selection of these available for check out. Launchpads are eligible for a three week check out but they cannot be renewed. Launchpads are not part of the floating collection but they can be returned to any branch from which they will be routed back to their home branch. They carry the same 20 cents per day overdue fine as other items. Launchpad kits should contain an orange case, a tablet with an orange bumper, a wall plug and a charging cord.
