Why do checked out items still appear on my hold list?

Answer

The new catalog unfortunately retains all items on your hold list including items that have already been checked out.  We have asked the vendor if this is something that they can change or at least improve filtering options and we hope they will be able to do this.  In the meantime, if you would like to remove any of the checked out items from your hold list you can call the library at 770-978-5154, text at 770-450-5305 or send us an email https://ask.gwinnettpl.org/ and we can assist with this.

In addition, items that remain on your hold list after check out cannot be re-requested until they have been checked back in.  We are also happy to help with this so please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
