Does the library provide assistance for filing taxes?

Answer

Gwinnett County Public Library does not provide tax preparation assistance, but if you need help printing forms staff can assist with that.

If you need more assistance filing here are some options:

VITA / TCE - The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals.

MyFreeTaxes by United Way - MyFreeTaxes helps people that earn $89,000 or less file their taxes for free while getting the assistance they need.

AARP Foundation Tax Aide - To locate the nearest AARP TCE Tax-Aide site between January and April use the AARP Site Locator Tool or call 888-227-7669. You do not have to be an AARP member to use the service.
