I registered online but when I try to login I get the message "patron does not exist." Why?

Answer

If you have registered for a library card online and your number starts with PACREG you will need to visit a library location to get your permanent library card.  Unfortunately, you will not be able to login to place holds until you have gotten your permanent barcode. 

In the event that you have already received your permanent card but you are still getting the "patron does not exist" message you may need to find out if you are entering the correct pin.  If you think you have forgotten your pin, you can get an email with a new one by clicking here

If it has been a long time since you used your card and you are receiving this message it may mean that the card has gone inactive and dropped out of the system.  In this case, you will need to register for a new account.
