United Way of Greater Atlanta provides free tax preparation services to the community through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and coalition partners in the community. VITA is available to individuals with incomes up to $67,000 and MyFreeTaxes is available to individuals with incomes up to $84,000.

3 Gwinnett County Public Library branches will host VITA Volunteers for tax preparation.

The volunteers will be available on specific days and times from February 10 through April 11.

Collins Hill Branch, 455 Camp Perrin Rd, Lawrenceville, GA. -- Wednesdays, 12 pm - 6 pm

Norcross Branch, 5735 Buford Hwy, Norcross, GA. -- Tuesdays, 10 am - 4 pm

Snellville Branch, 2245 Wisteria Dr SW, Snellville, GA. -- Fridays, 10 am - 4 pm

Walk-ins are welcome.

This is an intake service, your taxes are not prepared while you wait.

Your taxes will be prepared offsite at one of the participating coalition sites by IRS Certified and Trained
volunteers.
