Yes, each library in Gwinnett county has a secure bin where customers can place paper they would like to have shredded. The bins are emptied and the contents shredded on a regular basis.

Unacceptable items:
- Binders
- Electronic Media (CDs, DVDs, X-rays)
- Glass
- Plastic Bottles / Cans
- Food / Liquid
- Styrofoam and Packaging
- Metal / Plastic Objects not listed as acceptable
- Hazardous Materials
- Towels and Tissues
- Any other Non-Paper Product not listed as acceptable
